Biography
From live television to global stages.
Nikki Dean is an award-winning live presenter, event host and communications coach with more than two decades of experience connecting with audiences on screen, on stage and in the room.
Nikki first made her mark in live television, spending two years as co-anchor of a daily breakfast TV show in her home city of Manchester, where every topic was on the agenda, from breaking news and entertainment to lifestyle, sport, current affairs and human-interest stories.
It was there that she truly cut her teeth as a live broadcaster, developing the quick thinking, adaptability and audience connection that have become her trademark.
A trained broadcast journalist, Nikki's move into the freelance world quickly led to one of the most sought-after presenter roles in entertainment: six years as the online presenter for the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing. Bringing viewers exclusive backstage access, cast interviews and all the behind-the-scenes gossip, she became a familiar face to millions of fans.
During this time, she was also one of the resident Gadget Girls on BBC Two's Something for the Weekend, combining her passion for technology with her natural presenting style.
